The senior guard, whom coach Chris Gibson calls an “outstanding player,” scored a game-high 16 points in a 48-47 victory over Wilmington in the Class 2A Seneca Regional quarterfinals.

How would you describe the basketball season?

It started off pretty good. We hit a spot where we were getting some bad luck, we just couldn’t get anything going. To have the up seasons we’ve had in the past years and come to this season, it’s a little rough.

How have you improved?

Last year we had Jens (Kennedy) and Cal (Vigna), they were the main scorers. I was more of a defensive threat, guard the best player. I had to work on my offensive game, get my shot down, driving to the hoop, getting assists.

Have you decided on a college?

Not yet. I’m going to see what baseball does for me. That’s one of my stronger sports.

Favorite NBA team?

I like the Bulls. You’ve got to follow Chicago. When they’re on, get some buddies and watch the game.

Who’s the one person living or deceased you’d like to meet?

That’s a tough question — I guess Derrick Rose. I really like the way he plays.

Who would play you in the movie of your life?

(Leonardo) DiCaprio, definitely DiCaprio. I liked “Inception.”

What will you remember about your years at Dwight?

The bond is really strong with this team. We really enjoy everybody on the team. We all appreciate each other’s company.
