Poll: Super Bowl bid

In a private meeting Thursday between Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, Emanuel asked Goodell about Chicago one day hosting a Super Bowl at Soldier Field. Traditionally contested in a domed stadium or a warm-weather city the second Sunday in February annually, the NFL’s championship game will be played in New York in 2014, where the weather will not likely be balmy.
