Joliet to host conferences for landlords

JOLIET — The city of Joliet will sponsor free conferences for landlords from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the Jacob Henry Mansion, 20 S. Eastern Ave.
The conferences will provide landlords with information about new requirements for rental properties, as well as information about the eviction process, saving money in operating a rental property, and other resources available for Joliet property owners.

Voter registration
JOLIET — Will County Clerk Nancy Schultz Voots reminds those who are not registered to vote that Oct. 9 is the last day to register to vote in the Nov. 6 General Election.
The clerk’s office, 1302 N. Chicago St., is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
Two forms of identification are necessary — one must show name and address; the second identification can be name only.
