Crest Hill orders partial watering ban

CREST HILL — The city declared a limited water emergency.
Residents whose street address is an odd number may water outside landscaping on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Even numbers can on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Watering is not permitted on Sundays.
Schools can win prizes
JOLIET — Three schools — A.O. Marshall Elementary, Eisenhower Academy and Forest Park I.E. , are vying for a chance to win part of $120,000 in prizes in a national video contest as part of the 2012 Lots2Give Contest, sponsored by Big Lots.
