Updated: August 9, 2012 10:17PM

ROMEOVILLE — A cargo thief has become a cereal criminal.

Between July 26 and the afternoon of July 30, a semi-trailer was stolen from National Trailer Repair, 110 Anton Drive.

“The trailer, which is valued at about $14,000 contained a $24,000 load of Frosted Flakes,” Assistant Police Chief Steve Lucchesi said.

Lucchesi said police had no information on the suspect or whereabouts of the trailer or its contents.
