Joliet Post Office to be open Sundays

It’s time for the holidays and the Joliet post office will be open Sundays to help customers make the holidays a priority.
The Joliet main post office, 2000 McDonough St., will be open for business three Sundays before Christmas.
“We’re all about the customer here,” said Postmaster Chris Bernaky, “and we want to do all we can to make this a fantastic holiday season for everyone. When you’re done with your weekend shopping on Sunday, come on over and check us out.”
The office will be open for full retail and shipping services, including passport processing from 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays, Dec. 2, 9 and 16.
Customers are encouraged to mail early and are reminded that some shipping deadlines are only days away.
