Police Blotter: Gunman robs Joliet Burger King

JOLIET — A man armed with a gun robbed the Burger King at 3130 Plainfield Road early Sunday morning, police said.
The robber entered the dining room about 7:25 a.m. He pulled out a handgun and ordered the two employees into a back room where they were forced to put cash into a bag. The robber also had the employees empty the front cash registers before he led them into a freezer and fled the scene. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a male black about 35 years old who weighed between 135 and 165 pounds and was about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, police said.
