Police say 2 slain inside Joliet home; autopsies Friday

JOLIET — Two men were slain inside a house Thursday afternoon, police said.
Joliet detectives and evidence technicians at 1121 Hickory St. were “conducting an investigation” inside the two-story home but said additional information would be released through the chief’s office.
An ambulance was called for victims, but did not transport anyone to the hospital, reports said.
Will County Coroner Patrick K. O’Neil said deputy coroners had been cleared to remove two bodies from the house about 9:30 p.m. and the deaths were a double homicide.
O’Neil did not identify the victims and said autopsies would be conducted Friday.
