Man wounded in shooting

JOLIET — A Joliet motorist was wounded by gunfire Saturday afternoon at Third and Wilson avenues, police said.
The 22-year-old man was driving about 1 p.m. when two suspects fired at him, Joliet police said. The victim was wounded in the hand and buttocks, police said.
The victim was able to drive himself to an area hospital, where he was treated for gunshot wounds, authorities said. No arrests had been made in the case, and police were continuing to investigate.
