Police blotter: Pizza deliveryman robbed

JOLIET — A pizza deliveryman was robbed by two men at gunpoint Sunday night.
Around 11:15 p.m. the driver arrived in the 300 block of Columbia Street when a man stepped out in front of his car while brandishing a handgun.
After the driver was ordered out of the car, another man approached from behind and took two pizzas, a cell phone and money before the driver was allowed to leave.
No suspect information was available.
Man struck by car
JOLIET — A 66-year-old man suffered “life-threatening injuries” when struck by a car Sunday night.
Police said the collision occurred at 6:04 p.m. while the man was crossing Richards Street at Third Avenue.
The pedestrian was wearing all black clothing and the driver told police he did not see him, according to reports.
The victim was taken to Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center with brain bleeding, a broken hip and other injuries. No citations have been issued and the crash remains under investigation.

Robert J. Skinner: 49, of 16232 Rosemarie Lane, Lockport, was arrested by Joliet police Friday on charges of delivery of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jonathan G. Baldwin: 29, of 146 Ambassador Ave., Romeoville, was arrested by Romeoville police Friday on a charge of shoplifting.
Cesar Zavala: 23, of 604 Oakview Ave., Joliet, and Victor Zavala, 22, of 663 Abe St., Joliet, were arrested by Joliet police Friday on charges of reckless discharge of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm, fleeing from police and driving without insurance.
Emmanuel D. Lowe: 28, of 1319 Loretta Ave., Joliet, was arrested by sheriff’s police Friday on a charge of driving on a suspended license.
