Unclaimed cash station to be in Joliet on Wednesday

Updated: March 6, 2013 6:18AM

An I-Cash table, sponsored by state Treasurer Dan Rutherford, will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Joliet Public Library Black Road branch, 3395 Black Road.

Rutherford will not be in attendance, but staff will be available to help anyone wishing to determine if the state is holding any money or unclaimed property entitled to them. In fact, 197,716 owners in Will County have $36,276,341 in unclaimed property.

To find out if you have unclaimed property through I-Cash, visit the treasurer’s website at www.treasurer.il.gov and follow the I-Cash link. You can contact the Unclaimed Property Division by calling 217-785-6998 or emailing info@Icash.Illinois.gov, although searches cannot be completed by telephone.
