Joliet residents face prostitution charges

Two Joliet residents were among 10 people arrested in Aurora last week during a two-day prostitution sting.
Police placed ads on several internet sites known for advertising sexual services and arranged to meet customers at an undisclosed private residence on May 8 and 9, Aurora police said.
Three men came to the home on May 8 in response to the internet ad and offered an undercover female officer money in exchange for sex, police said in a statement.
Arrested and charged with solicitation of a sexual act were Edward W. Przybycien, 30, of the 800 block of Quin Court in Naperville; Thaddeus Chase, 45, of the 200 block of Loradale Drive in Oswego; and Anthony Chirico, 42, of the 0-100 block of Windham Drive in Montgomery, according to Aurora police.
On May 9, an undercover officer responded to ads on the same targeted websites and several women were arrested after offering to perform sexual acts for money, police said.
Charged with prostitution were Kandace L. Morales, 25, of the 400 block of Harwood Avenue in Joliet; Samantha R. Lang, 26, of the 3200 block of Pandora in Joliet; Jessica L. Morris, 19, of the 1800 block of East Main Street in Urbana; and Rafael Medrano, 37, of the 1100 block of Lebanon Street in Aurora.
Crystal L. Turner, 26, of the 400 block of Park Ridge Lane in Aurora, was charged with prostitution and unlawful possession of a controlled substance after heroin was allegedly found in her vehicle, Aurora police said. Based upon criminal history, Lashonda R. McClinton, 20, of the 2900 block of West 25th Place in Chicago; and Chunxia Lui, 42, of the 5500 block of South Madison Street in Hinsdale, were charged with felony prostitution, Aurora police said.
Six vehicles and $943 in cash also were seized, police said.
