The NASCAR Hauler Parade, featuring the trucks that bring the race cars into town and serve a dual role as garages, begins at 5 p.m.
NASCAR drivers appearing on the Main Stage for question and answer sessions include Kevin Harvick, Casey Mears, and brothers Bobby and Donnie Allison.
Bands 7th Heaven and the Cadillac Casanovas will perform. And, the assorted activities include a rock-climbing wall, remote control racing, classic car show and even a controlled water fight. The evening ends with a fireworks show at 9:45 p.m.
Race Fan Rally precedes the races that will run Sept. 13 to 15 at Chicagoland Speedway, including the Dollar General 300 and the Geico 400.
