BOLINGBROOK — A Romeoville motorcyclist was killed in a crash early Wednesday.
Richard H. Ford, 25, was riding a motorcycle east on Boughton Lane when he lost control near Aspen Lane and the bike struck the median, causing him to be ejected, according to Bolingbrook police.
Ford, of Romeoville, was taken to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital, where he died at 3:09 a.m., a statement from police said.
Police said speed and alcohol are thought to be factors in the crash, and Ford was not wearing a helmet.
Boughton Road was temporarily shut down except for one lane in each direction for about three hours.
