JACKSON TOWNSHIP — Will County sheriff’s police have not found any other remains near a skull that was pulled from a creek Thursday.
A survey crew was under the bridge of Rowell Avenue, about a half-mile south of Arsenal Road, when they saw a human skull near the water, Deputy Police Chief Ken Kaupas said.
Police searched the area Thursday and returned Friday morning with dogs trained to track human remains. Kaupas said a search along both sides of the creek for several hundred yards found nothing of interest. He said police plan to search the area again on Sunday.
