Board of governors seat goes to Kenol

CHICAGO — Jean Kenol, an attorney with the Joliet law firm of Mahoney, Silverman & Cross LLC, has been appointed to an at-large board of governors
seat of the Illinois State Bar Association. The 27-member board directs the operations and activities of the bar association. A native of Brooklyn who grew up in Joliet, Kenol also will serve as the association’s Young Lawyers Division Council vice chair in 2012-13.

Promotion for Chance

PLAINFIELD — Heartland Bank and Trust Company has promoted Suzette Chance of Shorewood to electronic banking services administrator at Heartland Bank’s office, 5650 Caton Farm Road. Chance is responsible for overseeing the bank’s online banking, mobile banking and eStatements.

Silver Cross Hospital vice president hired

NEW LENOX — Wayne Aardsma has joined Silver Cross Hospital as vice president of managed care. He will manage the hospital’s relationships with managed care organizations, HMOs and insurance companies, while evaluating opportunities for the hospital with the new health care reform laws.
