Networking for a job

JOLIET — Workforce Services Division of Will County added a workshop titled “Networking Your Way to a New Job” to its lineup of monthly offerings.

The inaugural sessions will be 2-3 p.m. Tuesday and 10-11 a.m. July 25. The workshop, and others designed for job seekers, are held at 214 N. Ottawa St. and are free for Will County residents. To reserve a seat, call Roxy Sefcik, 815-727-4444, Ext. 101, or email rsefcik@willcountyillinois.com.

Good Neighbor nominations

Cross hands out award

State Rep. Tom Cross, R-Oswego, awarded his monthly Ovation to Business award to Tim Stetenfeld of Edward Jones Investments in Plainfield for his dedication to civic involvement and work on behalf of the local business community.

“Tim Stetenfeld is a class act as a small business owner, community volunteer and as a person,” Cross said.
