Bank names senior VP

Standard Bank and Trust Co. appointed Terry Hackett to the position of senior vice president. He has more than 35 years of commercial lending experience, mostly in the Joliet area. Most recently, Hackett was president of First Community Bank of Joliet. He is a member of the Contractors Association of Will and Grundy Counties and he has served on finance or fundraising committees for several area high schools.

Girls Run for Funds

JOLIET — The Council For Working Women’s 2012 Girls Run for Funds will start at 9 a.m. Oct. 6 at Pilcher Park, 227 N. Gougar Road. Race day registration is from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. The race fee is $30 after. All racers will receive a T-shirt. For information or to register, visit events.jolietchamber.com or call 815-727-5371.

RE/MAX honors agents

CHICAGO — A national ranking by Real Trends Inc. and the Wall Street Journal named several RE/MAX agents and teams serving the metropolitan Chicago real estate market among the nation’s top 1,000 residential individuals and teams based on 2011 sales achievements. The team of Ron and Darlene Gersch with RE/MAX Realty of Joliet ranked 244th.
