Association to discuss health care reform

JOLIET — Gallagher Benefit Services representatives will present information on the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision on health care reform and its effects on health plan requirements for employers during Wednesday’s meeting of the Grundy Will Human Resources Association.

The meeting will be held at Joliet Junior College, 1215 Houbolt Road. Networking begins at 7:30 a.m., the chapter meeting at 7:45 a.m. and the one-hour program at 8 a.m. The meeting and program are open to area human resource professionals and members of the business community. MidAmerica clinic opens in Mokena

MOKENA — MidAmerica Hand to Shoulder Clinic opened its fifth clinic in September at 19065 Hickory Creek Drive, Suite 210.

Grants awarded

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration has awarded $10.7 million through the Susan Harwood Training Grant Program to 72 nonprofit organizations, including Operating Engineers Local 150 Apprenticeship Fund in Wilmington. The apprenticeship fund received a grant of $133,766.
