Plainfield man named IMRF board secretary

OAK BROOK — John Piechocin
ski of Plainfield has been named secretary of the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund board. He has served as an employee trustee on the board since January 2011. IMRF administers a plan of retirement, disability and death benefits for 3,000 municipal employers. At the end of 2012, IMRF had nearly $28 billion in assets and was 85.2 percent funded on a market basis.
Physicians join staff
JOLIET — Five new physicians have joined Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. They are Menka Desai, pediatrics; Crystal Hines-Mays, family medicine; Leon Huddleston, physical medicine and rehabilitation; Mouhannad “Marc” Kantar, geriatric medicine; and Trent Smith, emergency medicine.
Chef named
LEMONT — Eduardo Nepomuceno has joined Lemont Nursing and Rehabilitation as head chef. Nepomuceno has been cooking professionally for 10 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics. His past experience in the food industry includes managing and overseeing operations for leading quick concept restaurants, including Panda Express, Portillos/Barnelli’s pasta bowl and Pei Wei by Pf Changs.
