JOLIET — Russ Slinkard, president and chief executive of the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said last week that the chamber is not affiliated with a Davenport, Iowa-based company called Premier Maps.
The company has been contacting chamber members, saying it’s “working with the chamber” on production of a new Joliet map. The chamber never has done business with the company, Slinkard said.
“If they call you stating otherwise, this a fraudulent call,” he said.
