What’s that? You’ve been putting off your date with the tax man? Well, here’s some good news. If your adjusted gross income is $57,000 or less, you don’t have to pay a dime to get those taxes done. Instead, you can use Free File, the federal income tax prep and electronic filing program for eligible taxpayers. There are a number of different tax software programs that partner with the program and finding the one you like best is as easy as heading to www.irs.gov/freefile. And yes, it really is free, with no gimmicks.
