Free senior luncheon
MOKENA — A free spring seniors’ luncheon will be May 14 at the Mokena Fire Protection District’s Station 1, 19853 S. Wolf Road.
A speaker will discuss “Explaining Stroke.”
Sessions will be at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Call 708-479-5371
Performance at Timbers
SHOREWOOD — The duo The 45s will perform at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the ballroom at The Timbers of Shorewood, 1100 N. River Road.
The 45s were formed in 2004 by Mel and Gary with the ability to put over a song with a lot of feeling. They each loved the good old days of the jukebox — hence their name was born.

Pianist to perform
SHOREWOOD — Pianist Floyd Andrew will perform classics in the piano lounge at 2 p.m. Saturday at The Timbers of Shorewood, 1100 N. River Road.
Known as “Mr. Showman,” Andrew performs standards including Broadway show tunes, movie theme songs, nostalgic classics and music from times gone by.
