Screenings for autism available

NEW LENOX — Trinity Services’ Autism and Family Resource Center will provide free screenings for children suspected of having an autism spectrum disorder.
Parents may stop by the center, 13318 W. Lincoln Highway, or call 815-462-4273 to complete the screening.
The center provides services for children with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities.
Autism spectrum disorder is a group of complex neurobiological disorders. Characteristics vary, but include difficulty in communication and social interaction and repetitive behaviors.
