Sergeant to speak at meeting
SHOREWOOD — Join Troy TRIAD from 9-9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Troy Township Community Center, 25448 Seil Road, as Sgt. Teri Ellingham of the Will County Sheriff’s Office talks about the life-saving programs Yellow Dot and File of Life.
An Illinois Department of Transportation program, the Yellow Dot program is a life-saving, traffic-safety initiative that provides first responders with critical information to improve emergency care for people involved in vehicle crashes.
The event includes free admission and free parking, but seating is limited. Call 815-744-1968.
The Timbers hosting tinnitus program
SHOREWOOD — A program about tinnitus will be presented by a speaker from Prairieland Audiology at 2 p.m. May 15 at The Timbers of Shorewood, 1100 N. River Road.
Tinnitus is noise or ringing in the ears.
