Prayer walk
JOLIET — The Igniting the Fire Prayer and Worship Center will present the Guarding the Gates of the City and Praying for Governmental Leaders Prayer Walk on Saturday,
The lineup for the walk will begin at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the Will County Visitation Facility, at 20 S. Chicago St.. The walk will begin at 11:45 a.m., and the group is scheduled to arrive at its final destination, the Will County Courthouse, at noon.
Healing prayer service
PLAINFIELD — A Healing prayer service will be held at 1:30 p.m. June 3 at St. Mary Immaculate Church, 15629 S. Route 30.
After a short Scripture reading and prayer, each individual will be offered the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.
The church holds a healing prayer service at 1:30 p.m. the first Sunday of every month.
