Church screening ‘War Horse’
LOCKPORT — First United Methodist Church, 1000 S. Washington St., will hold free movie night from 6-8 p.m. Saturday. The movie will be “War Horse,” which is rated PG-13.

Vacation Bible school scheduled
JOLIET — First Christian Church will have its Vacation Bible School with a theme of Adventures on Promise Island from 9 a.m. to noon June 18-22 at 1701 Laraway Road.
