Morris Library movie

MORRIS — The Morris Area Public Library, 604 Liberty St., will be show the movie “Alice in Wonderland” at 2 p. m. Wednesday in order to wrap up the summer reading program.

The event is free and is grades six-12. Sundaes will be served.

Touch a Truck

CHANNAHON — The Channahon Park District will host at Touch a Truck event from 9:30 a.m. to noon Friday at Skateland Recreation Center and Channahon Lanes on Route 6.

An excavator, fire truck, garbage truck, school bus and many other trucks will be there.

From 9:30 to 10 a.m. will be quiet time, no horns or running engines will be allowed.

Sherlock Holmes movie

MORRIS — Come investigate the new audio and video systme at the Morris Library by attending a free Saturday movie matinee showing of “Sherlock Homes” A Game of Shadows” on Saturday.

Nobody under the age of 13 will be admitted unless accompanied by an adult.

Refreshments will be served. Register at the library or call 815-942-6880.
