Park district registration set
LOCKPORT — Registration for fall programs for the Lockport Township Park District begins Aug. 4 for residents and Aug. 13 for non-residents.
Doors open at 7 a.m. and registration begins at 8 a.m. Register at Challenge Fitness, 2021 S. Lawrence Ave.. Registrations will also be taken at Challenge Fitness during regular hours: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Friday and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Registrations can also be mailed. Online registrations also begin Aug. 6 for residents and Aug. 13 for non-residents. For more information call 815-838-3621, ext. 0.
St. Mary Magdalene registration
JOLIET — St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 127 S. Briggs St., is accepting registrations for religious education for students in kindergarten through eighth grade for the 2012-13 school year. Classes begin Sept. 9.
