Cathedral area home tour: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 9. Tour seven vintage homes and one historic office building in Joliet’s historic Cathedral neighborhood. This Olde Housewalk will be presented by the Cathedral Area Preservation Association. Tickets are $16 in advance or $20 at the door the day of the tour. Groups or 10 or more may purchase tickets for $13 each in advance. Porch lunches are available for $12.50 each in advance. Call 815-723-7603 or visit capajoliet.net for reservations.
Dance: 6:30-9:30 p.m. Sept. 9, United Singles of Joliet at Knights of Columbus on Infantry Drive in Joliet. Refreshments are furnished, and there will be a cash bar and music by DJ Mike Borgra. Casual dress. For ages 35 and older. A $10 cover charge at the door. Bring a guest and receive ticket for drawing for free pass to a future dance.

Wendy’s classic car cruise in: 5-9 p.m. every Monday night all year round for socializing. Cars, trucks, tractors, cycles are welcome at the Wendy’s on Route 47, just south of Interstate 80 in Morris. This is a free social event.
