Church hosting Rosary mission
COAL CITY — Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 245 S Kankakee St., will have a Rosary Renewal Parish Mission in preparation for the Year of Faith at 7 p.m. Oct. 7-10.
October is the officially the Month of the Holy Rosary.
The Rev. George Knab, a Missionary Oblate of Mary Immaculate, will preach a four-day mission to promote true devotion to Mary as a powerful aid to following Christ who leads us to God the Father.
Since 1816, the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate have been dedicated to this ministry for renewal.
