Crafter Show and Bake Sale: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 5 at Minooka Communtiy High School Central Campus, 301 S. Wabena Ave., Minooka. Hosted by Minooka Band Boosters. Featuring more than 100 exhibitors, instant raffle and food court. Admission $2; $1 seniors and students. All proceeds fund Summer Band Camp.
Southwest model and railroad memorabilia show: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 5, Stone City Veterans of Foreign Wars, 124 Stone City Drive, Joliet. Admission is $3, free for children younger than 12.

Candlelight bowl extravaganza: 9 p.m. to midnight March 18 at Strike N Spare, 811 Northern Drive in Lockport. Lockport Park District has partnered with Harris Bank. Participants will enjoy an open bar, food, bowling and live entertainment. Price per team of four is $180 ancd $270 for a team of six. This fee also includes bowling shoes. Participants must be 21 years of age or older. Proceeds benefit the Dellwood Foundation Scholarship Program and the Automatic External Defibrillator Program within the Lockport Township. Spaghetti dinner fundraiser: 5-8 p.m. April 2 at the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred House Motherhouse, 9201 W. St. Francis Road in Frankfort. Sponsored by the Father Ed Grotovsky Foundation establised to raise funds for scholarships to provide scholarships or financial support to those who wish to pursue vocations in ministry and Christian education.
