Winter FUN-derland family event: 10 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 12, hosted by Plainfield Park District in Boy Scout Park next to the Recreation/Administration Center, 23729 W. Ottawa St., Plainfield. Family snowball fight, a snow shovel relay race, snowman building and sledding, then enjoy hot chocolate and cookies by a campfire. Registration is required by Wednesday.
