Gotta Do It

Sunday

Big omelet breakfast: 8 to 11 a.m. Jan. 20, Knights of Columbus, 100 S. Infantry Drive, Joliet. All you can eat. Cost is $8 for adults or $5 for ages 6-12.

Indoor flea market: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 20, The Oaks Recreation and Fitness Center field house, 10847 LaPorte Road, Mokena. Buyers admitted free. Vendor registration fee is $30 and is non-refundable. All vendors must pre-register at the park office. Vendors receive a 12-by-12 space in the field house. Bring your own tables and chairs. Irish American Society meeting: From 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 20, the Irish American Society of County Will is hosting John Gleeson from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at the Joliet Area Historical Museum, 204 N. Ottawa, Joliet. He will be discussing Celtic mythology and Ireland. Free admission. Call Sheila at 815-727-0994 for information.

Monday

Spaghetti dinner: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 21, Boy Scout Troop 175 at the Family Moose Center, 25 Springfield Ave., Joliet. Tickets are $7. Menu includes a large plate spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread, dessert and a beverage. The proceeds will benefit the Scouts.

Tuesday

Pasta dinner: 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 22, sponsored by Joliet Public Schools District 86 Music Department at St. Joseph Park, 700 Theodore St., Joliet. The dinner will include all-you-can-eat pasta, plus salad, bread and a beverage. Tickets are $6 for pre-orders and $7 at the door. For more information, call 815-740-3196, ext. 258. All proceeds will benefit the District 86 Music Program.

Wednesday

Fried chicken buffet: 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays at American Legion Post 1080, Ingalls Avenue and Infantry Drive, Joliet. All you can eat. Call 815-729-2254.

Queens of hearts raffle drawings: 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays at VFW Post 5422 in Wilmington. The pot is more than $19,500. Tickets are six for $5 with purchase of a drink. If present, you could win 70 percent of the pot. Those not present could win 45 percent. Consolation prizes offered after 6:30 p.m. Call 815-476-9210.
