Spaghetti dinner: 5 to 8 p.m. Jan. 26, sponsored by St. Mary Immaculate and served by the eighth-grade class and their parents in the gym, 15629 S. Route 59, Plainfield. Cost is $7 for adults; $5 for seniors and ages 6 and older; or free for ages 5 and younger with a maximum cost of $25 per family (two adults per family only). Takeout orders also available.

Breakfast: 8:30 a.m. to noon Jan. 27, the Knights of Columbus and Ladies Auxiliary — Good Shepherd Council 5573 will serve French toast and eggs after morning Masses in the St. Mary Immaculate gym, 15629 S. Kuts for Kim: Noon to 5 p.m. Jan. 27, a cut-a-thon for Kim Trainor at Charles Morris Salon, 1832 E. Lincoln Highway, New Lenox. Trainor suffers from renal cell carcinoma and systemic lupus erythematosus. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go directly to her medical treatment. Event will include hair cuts, nail polish changes, parafin hand treatments, eyebrow waxing, green hair extensions (for liver cancer) and raffles.
