The evening of Jubilaté will be underscored by honoring the Irene and William Roth family with the JCA Recognition Award.
The Joliet couple had six boys who graduated from Joliet Catholic and have 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. They are lifetime members of St. Raymond Cathedral.
Their involvement with JCHS and JCA will soon span a 50-year period from 1965, their son Bill’s first year, through 2017, when their grandson Patrick will graduate from JCA.
The Roths have played an integral role in areas such as Elian Night, Jubilation, Jubil-Auction, Mother’s Club Board, Advisory Boards and any happening where they could offer a helping hand. Will served as president as Joliet Catholic’s Advisory Board for several years and Irene was also president of the Council of Catholic Women for some time.
The award also honors the Roth Family. Bonnie and the late Bill Roth (class of 1969) have one child, and Bonnie resides in Gurnee. Julie and Mick Roth (class of 1972) have four children and reside in Elmhurst. Mick is a partner with Ice Miller LLP. Sue and Tom Roth (class of 1973) have four children and reside in Plainfield. Luanne and Jim Roth (class of 1977) have four children (Will class of 2007, Andy class of 2010, Ellie class of 2014 and Patrick class of 2017) and reside in Naperville. Jim is managing director for Pershing LLC, a division of BNY Mellon. Kim and Bob Roth (class of 1979) have four children and reside in Sugar Grove. Bob is a partner with Reed Smith Law Firm.
