Tickets cost $10 for adults; $7 for children ages 5-12; and free for children ages 4 and younger. Carryouts are available for $7. Deliveries are available in Plainfield. Pancake breakfast: 7:30 to 11 a.m. Feb. 9 at Ingalls Park United Methodist Church, 105 Davison St., Joliet. Sponsored by Kings Daughters and Sons, Mabel Fox Circle. The cost is $5 for adults; $4 for children ages 4-12 and free for children 3 and younger.
Spaghetti dinner: 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 9 hosted by Joliet West High School Band Boosters in the Joliet West High School cafeteria, 401 N. Larkin Ave., Joliet. Tickets can be pre-purchased through a band student for $8 or they will be sold at the event for $10 per person.
Sunday
Pancake breakfast: 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 10, sponsored by Boy Scout Troop 5 of Joliet, Stone City Post 2199, 124 Stone City Drive, Joliet. Cost is $6 for adults or $5 for children and seniors.
Prom dress style show: 2 p.m. Feb. 10, hosted by the Morris High School FCCLA Club in the Morris High School auditorium. A $2 donation will be taken at the door. Proceeds go to the Grundy County Prom Aid program. The club will accept donations of gently used formal gowns and dresses, purses and blue jeans. Call 815-942-1294.
Mardi Gras dance: 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 10, hosted by United Singles at Knights of Columbus Hall, 100 S. 129th Infantry Drive, Joliet. There will be snacks and a cash bar. Dress is casual. The cost is $10 per guest or $15 for couples. Music furnished by DJ Mike Borgra.
