Soup Supper: Coal City United Methodist Church, 6805 E. McArdle Road, Coal City, hosts its inaugural hallelujah soup supper of the season from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Homemade chicken noodle and stuffed green pepper soups and ham and turkey sandwiches will be served. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for ages 6 to 12, $2 for ages 3 to 5 and free for ages 2 and younger. Tickets will be sold at the door, and carry-outs will be available.
Turkey Dinner And Christmas Bazaar: Channahon United Methodist Church, 24751 W. Eames St., Channahon, hosts a turkey dinner and thrift shop Christmas bazaar from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Attendees can enjoy a homemade meal of turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, green beans, rolls, cranberry relish, pie, coffee and lemonade at 4:30 p.m. Fee is $11 for adults and carry-outs. Turkey Dinner: St. John’s United Church of Christ, 11100 Second St., Mokena, hosts its annual turkey dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Christian Community Center. Healing Service: The United Methodist Church of New Lenox, 339 New Lenox Road, offers a healing and anointing service at 10 a.m. the second Sunday of every month. Information: (815) 485-8271.
Christmas Bazaar: St. Joseph Park, 1500 N. Raynor Ave., Joliet, presents the annual St. Joseph Seniors Christmas Bazaar from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 17. No outside food or drinks are allowed. Vendor tables are available for $20 each. Information: (815) 730-3936.
Christmas Gift And Fresh Bakery Sale: St. John the Baptist Catholic Church’s gym, 403 N. Hickory St. Joliet, offers new Christmas gifts including clothing, decorations, toys, books, religious items, candy and more and a fresh bakery sale with homemade treats from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 7 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 8.
