Program offers senior job seekers

Senior job help

ROMEOVILLE — State Rep. Emily McAsey will partner with the Joliet Junior College Plus 50 Workforce Center to host a Plus 50 Resume Writing and Job Search Workshop at 9 a.m. Feb. 16 at the JJC Romeoville Campus, 1125 W. Romeo Road.

The free workshop is designed to assist job seekers over 50.

Professionals of the JJC Plus 50 Workforce Center will provide training.

Coffee meetings

BOLINGBROOK — Principal Keith Wood scheduled a series of Coffee with Dr. Wood events on Thursdays o share details on academic progress at Brooks Middle School.

The first coffee will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at the school, 350 Blair Lane. Others will follow at 7 p.m. Feb. 23, 9 a.m. March 22 and 9 a.m. April 17.

No reservations are necessary.
