Southwest Weekly: Grundy-area police report recent arrests

Correction

Gerald R. Rimmele, 30, of Minooka, was charged Jan. 16 with operating an uninsured vehicle. Minooka police incorrectly reported his age as 68; the incorrect age was printed in last week’s Southwest Weekly Police Blotter in The Herald-News.

Elwood police

Luis F. Hernandez: 30, of Joliet, was arrested Jan. 17 on an outstanding warrant for driving while license revoked.

Christopher P. Keigher: 46, of Joliet, was arrested Jan. 19 on a charge of possession of stolen property.

Channahon police

Corey M. Polovina: 28, of Valparaiso, Ind., was arrested Jan. 21 on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, improper operation of an ATV, operating an uninsured vehicle, no registration and driving under the influence of alcohol with a suspended license.

David W. Bass Jr.: 34, of Minooka, was arrested Jan. 22 on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, failure to signal when required, improper turn and obstructed registration.

Minooka police

Benjamin A. Hulbert: 28, of Minooka, was arrested Jan. 19 on an in-state warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving on a suspended license.

Alicia L. Benavides: 32, of Joliet, was arrested Jan. 20 on charges of driving without a license, disobeying a traffic signal and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Kimberly M. Egan: 39, of Joliet, was arrested Jan. 22 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a BAC of over .08.

Lucas C. Vickers: 20, of Channahon, was arrested Jan. 23 on charges of possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jaime L. Ramirez: 39, of Minooka, was arrested Jan. 24 on a charge of driving without a license.

Brent J. Gerardy: 22, of Romeoville, was arrested Jan. 24 on charges of driving while license suspended/revoked, improper signal and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Wilmington police

Sarah A. Smith: 26, of Kankakee, was arrested Jan. 21 on a Grundy County warrant for failure to appear.
