Tax help available for Troy seniors

Senior tax help
SHOREWOOD — Troy Township Supervisor Joseph Baltz and Senior Committee Chairman Trustee Donald Walden announced that the Troy Township Community Center will again be a site for the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program.
The program offers help for older taxpayers and people with limited income.
Troy Township seniors can have their income taxes prepared and filed electronically for free.
Appointments will be available starting Wednesday, and will be offered each Wednesday through April 11.
Appointments are required; call 815-744-1968.
Tax aides needed
JOLIET — Volunteers are sought to help low-income families file income tax returns.

Hours are flexible. Online tax training is available.
