RHS Band Boosters plan Festival Night

Band’s festival night

ROMEOVILLE — The public is invited to the 16th annual Romeoville High School Band Boosters Association Festival Night dinner and concert Feb. 26.

The festival night will feature an Italian-style sit-down dinner starting at 5 p.m. followed by the RHS Winter Concert at 7 p.m.

Tickets for both cost $7 for adults and $3 for RHS students and for children ages 12 and under.

Concert-only tickets cost $5 for adults and $3 for RHS students. Children 12 and under will be admitted free to the show.

There are no advance ticket sale. All tickets will be sold at the door.

Math literacy event

ROMEOVILLE — A lot of fun activities are planned for the Family Math Literacy Night at Irene King Elementary School, 301 Eaton Ave.

Scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, the evening will include plenty of engaging math read-alouds and hands-on math activities for parents and students.

The doors open at 5:45 p.m.

Students must be accompanied by an adult.

A free ice cream treat will be available.
