Firefighters put out blazes in Crest Hill and Lockport

LOCKPORT TOWNSHIP — Firefighters recently put out blazes in Crest Hill and Lockport.

The Crest Hill fire started Monday morning in a machine at the Fab Werks plant at 911 Brian Drive. It was contained to the machine, a fire official said.

A house at 19324 Jacquie Ave. in Lockport caught on fire at about 4:20 p.m. Saturday. The fire was contained to the kitchen pantry area where it started, but the entire house sustained smoke damage, the fire official said.

In other police news:

Nathaniel R. Walker: 26, of 911 Longwood Drive in Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Sunday on a charge of shoplifting.

Timothy L. Jackson: 33, of 2852 Stonewater Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Sunday on a charge of aggravated domestic battery.

Justin A. Ingles: 18, of 1112 Ridgewood Ave. in Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Sunday on a charge of narcotics possession.

Tracy A. Morack: 33, of 8233 Pecan Place in Frankfort, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Sunday on charges of driving on a suspended license and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Don D. Mayberry: 20, of 105 Comstock St. in Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Monday on charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and unauthorized possession of ammunition.

Jose M. Mena: 28, of 116 S. Eastern Ave. in Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Monday on charges of narcotics possession, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on a suspended license.

Alexander A. Guardado: 20, of 416 N. Clarendon Ave. in Addison, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Monday on a charge of driving on a suspended license.

Luis A. Guzman: 44, of 4600 S. Sawyer Ave. in Chicago, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Monday on a charge of driving on a suspended license.

Albert A. Curtis: 34, of 9134 S. Lafayette Ave. in Chicago, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Monday on a charge of shoplifting.

Micelle M. Willhite: 28, of 1716 N. Broadway in Crest Hill, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Monday on charges of aggravated assault and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

Cashmere S. Wilson: 22, of 4545 Gardiner Ave. in Yorkville, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Monday on a charge of driving on a suspended license.

Bobbie L. Anderson: 42, of 1012 Parkwood Drive in Joliet, was arrested by Lockport police and booked into the county jail Monday on a charge of shoplifting.

Shane R. Valentine: 22, of 23846 W. 135th St. in Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police and booked into the county jail Monday on a charge of theft.

Lorenzo Brown: 25, of 515 S. Pearl St. in Salem, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Monday on a charge of unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Melissa S. Ronczkowski: 22, of 136 Sunset Lane in Bolingbrook, was arrested by Bolingbrook police and booked into the county jail Monday on a charge of narcotics possession.
