Relay for Life ready to kick off

JOLIET — The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Joliet will hold its annual kickoff event at 7 p.m. Feb. 13 at Advanced Urology Associates, at 1541 Riverboat Center Drive.

The kickoff offers information about the society’s mission of saving lives faster by helping people stay well, helping people get well, finding cures and fighting back.

The registration fee will be waived for teams who sign up before or during the kickoff.

This year’s American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Joliet will be June 23 and 24 at ATI Field at Joliet Memorial Stadium. Volunteers are needed.

Romeoville Relay for Life

The Relay for Life of Romeoville will be at 2 p.m. June 30 at the Romeoville Municipal Center, at 1050 W. Romeo Road.

The kickoff rally will be at 7 p.m. Feb. 23 at Mongo McMichael’s in Romeoville.
