Joliet Job Corps student accused of rape

Updated: March 6, 2012 8:13AM

JOLIET — A Joliet Job Corps student allegedly raped another on campus Thursday night.

The 19-year-old victim reportedly told police she was walking alone outside 1101 Mills Road when she was approached by Lucas E. Rehor, 19.

“Rehor pushed the victim against an outside wall, out of view of the cameras,” Chief Mike Trafton said. “He then started grabbing her breasts, took off the victim’s belt and pulled her pants and underwear down and forced himself upon her.”

The woman told police she “continuously punched” Rehor throughout the attack and took off running when he got off of her. She notified staff members who alerted police to take Rehor into custody.

Rehor was questioned by detectives and confessed to the assault, Trafton said. He was booked into the county jail on a charge of criminal sexual assault.
