ROMEOVILLE — A man claiming to have a gun robbed a bank Thursday afternoon.

The robbery occurred just before 2:20 p.m. at PNC Bank, 495 N. Weber Road.

After taking cash, the man ran south from the bank while employees called 911.

The suspect was described as a white man in his 20s with short black hair. He was approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighed 175 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Romeoville Police Department Investigations Division at 815-886-7219 or the FBI Chicago Office at 312-421-6700.
