Home Depot moves to Joliet warehouse

JOLIET — Home Depot has begun operations at its new 657,000-square-foot distribution center.
The facility in CenterPoint Intermodal Center — Joliet employs 350 workers and distributes merchandise to 140 stores in Illinois and Minnesota.
The new Joliet warehouse, which began operations in late January, replaces the distribution center Home Depot had in Romeoville.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Thursday.
