Samy’s Lounge fined by liquor commissioner

JOLIET — Samy’s Lounge has been fined $750 for failing to report an act of battery and disorderly conduct to police after an incident on Dec. 20.
Mayor Thomas Giarrante, acting as liquor commissioner, issued the fine after a hearing was held for the bar, which is at 3151 Voyager Lane.
