YMCA gala set

JOLIET — The annual Giving Gala to benefit the Greater Joliet Area YMCA will be at 6 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Bolingbrook Golf Club, 2001 Rodeo Drive in Bolingbrook.

The event will feature dinner, silent and live auctions, raffles and entertainment.

Financing College

BOLINGBROOK — Financing College will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Annerino Community Center, 201 Recreation Drive.

It is sponsored by state Rep. Emily McAsey in partnership with the Illinois Student Assistance Commission

At the free event, representatives from the commission will present information on grants, scholarships and other tuition assistance programs.
