Job fair to be Monday in Lockport

LOCKPORT — The city of Lockport will host a job fair with U.S. Rep. Dan Lipinski from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Lockport Township High School, 1333 E. Seventh St.

The fair will provide an opportunity for job seekers to meet with a range of area businesses that are hiring.

Attendees should be sure to bring multiple copies of their resume.

Festival Night schedule

ROMEOVILLE — Because of several conflicts, the 16th annual Romeoville High School Band Boosters Association Festival Night dinner and concert now will be held Feb. 26.

Festival Night will feature an Italian-style sit-down dinner starting at 4 p.m. followed by the RHS Winter Concert at 6 p.m. The times are different from the original Feb. 25 schedule.

Tickets for both the dinner and concert cost $7 for adults and $3 for students as well as children ages 12 and younger.

Concert-only tickets cost $5 for adults and $3 for RHS students. Children 12 and younger will be admitted free.

Tickets will be available at the door.
